Imagery based techniques have been used quite extensively in clinical
psychology and psychotherapy, psychological and even spiritual "self-help," sports
training, pain control, education, etc. (Material on mnemonic applications
of imagery, which may overlap with educational ones, can be found on the
Mental Imagery - Theories
and Experiments page.) With the speed
at which the web now grows and changes, it is not really possible to keep up
with listings of such pages. Some of the sites listed here are listed because
they were around when this page was first made, some because I think they are
particularly interesting, and some by sheer chance. They vary very widely in
quality, and very likely there are many better sites that I
either do not know about or have not found the time to include. A
listing here implies no endorsement of any products or services which may be
being sold or promoted at these sites.
