• Imagination, Cognition and Personality is a print journal devoted to the scientific study of imagery, imagination and related topics. Tends to focus more on individual differences, emotion, and psychodynamic and developmental issues, rather than the cognitive science of imagery. Abstracts of published articles are now available for free online (full text with subscription).

• The Journal of Mental Imagery carries both empirical and theoretical articles on the psychology of imagery, but for the most part seems more oriented toward psychotherapy (and particularly the techniques pioneered by proprietor/editor Akhter Ahsen) than experimental psychology or cognitive science.

• The Journal of Consciousness Studies publishes many high quality articles, and has a lot of useful material at its site, including the full text of selected articles.

• Psyche is an interdisciplinary, peer reviewed e-journal on consciousness. All articles are freely available online. Home page also gives access to moderated mailing lists/news groups on consciousness, plus useful links.

• The Journal of Imagination in Language Learning is a publication aimed at language teachers (K-12 through college). Full text is made freely available online one year after publication in print.

• Consciousness and Cognition is a cognitively oriented psychology journal that occasionally publishes articles on mental imagery. It also occasionally publishes philosophical work on consciousness. Article abstracts are freely available online but (apart from occasional freebies) full text access requires a subscription.

• The Journal of Mind and Behavior often publishes psychological and philosophical work on consciousness and related topics.

• Consciousness, Literature and the Arts is an online journal (full text freely available) that aims to provide a forum for work relating the arts and literature to the contemporary study of consciousness in disciplines such as philosophy, cognitive science, psychology, neuroscience, computer science, and physics.

• Journal of Imagery Research in Sport and Physical Activity is a peer reviewed online journal that allows open access to its contents after free registration.

• A categorized listing of home pages of psychology journals, many of which occasionally publish work on imagery, imagination, or consciousness.

• A listing of home pages of philosophy journals, many of which publish relevant articles.
